"Turn out your lights for Earth Hour on Saturday, March 29 at 8:30 pm and show your commitment to a better future."
The message above is found on the page about the WWF Earth Hour wolrdwide known, a way to show the world how many people are involved with the preservation of our huge home called Earth and how these people are involved.
The ISF, of course, supports and invites everyone to participate to this action. So, will we stay in the dark?
This time will be as a widespread blackout, except for the fact that the refrigerator keep running, so don't worry, the food will not spoil! Speaking of food, a dinner by candlelight at the time would be nice, huh?
Want to take better advantage of Earth Hour? Look what you can do while you are in the dark:
Cycling, running, walking - This is a great excuse for you to go out and do some exercise without the use of electricity, is good for health and the planet thanks!
Go to a square, beach, anywhere with friends and shoot the breeze - Well, it's Saturday, nothing better than meeting friends and forget the stress of the week!
Ah! That romantic dinner by candlelight mentioned earlier is a good idea to lovers on duty.
Anyway, use your imagination and join us. Saturday, March 29, 8:30 pm , turn off the lights (and, if possible, unplug electronic devices) the challenge is for only an hour, but your participation will help save a lot of energy.
PS: The WWF is counting people that join the challenge, follow the link and take a look:
